Wedding and Events Manager

Cedar Court Hotels are a group of privately-owned hotels with a strong emphasis on Yorkshire values and dedication to customer service.

We are recruiting for a Wedding and Events Manager to manage and co-ordinate multicultural and traditional weddings, conferences and events across both our Bradford and Huddersfield properties.

Based at our Bradford property, and with regular travel between the two Hotels, the Wedding and Events Manager will work in close liaison with our Central Reservations Team, as well as our Regional Sales Managers across Yorkshire, being the point of contact on site to ensure that all the details for weddings, conferences and events are finalised to ensure complete guest satisfaction.

You must have previous wedding and event co-ordination experience in a similar environment with a positive “can do” attitude and a strong work ethic, as you will be working closely with all operational departments within the hotel to ensure a seamless experience for all our guests.

The main responsibilities of the position are:

  • Full event management and co-ordination, from initial contact to being present on the day to make sure events run to full guest satisfaction
  • Informing operational departments of individual event requirements and following up to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Ensuring guests receive the right and relevant information in regards to their event
  • Managing guest show rounds
  • Meeting and greeting event guests on arrival at the hotel
  • Ensure payments are processed accurately and efficiently

The role requires a professional, outgoing and positive personality with excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for guest satisfaction and superb organisational and administrative skills.
