As the curry capital of the UK, many people already head to Bradford to taste some of the finest curries in the country – but things are set to hot up even further.
Now in its fifth year, this home-grown event began in Leeds before moving to Bradford in 2012. It now boasts an international profile of its own – something which can only benefit the city and local area.
The place to be will be Bradford’s City Park and the surrounding area. Here you can immerse yourself in a world of tastes and flavours with dazzling demonstrations, cookery shows, celebrity chefs, pop-up restaurants and street food.
Too spicy? It's not just about curry
It’s not all about eating curry either – so no need to worry if spice isn’t your thing. There will be plenty of opportunities for shopping as well as sampling a variety of music, art and entertainment.
Highlights include: a series of poetry events and workshops in association with Ilkley Literature Festival; Indian and food-themed drama and comedy performances in association with Bradford Theatres; cookery classes, and the much anticipated final of Bradford College’s Junior Chef Competition.
It's going to be a fantastic celebration. We’ll see you there!
