Having helped 14 people lose over 10 stone in just 10 weeks during its first fit club programme, the BEST WESTERN PLUS Cedar Court Hotel Leeds / Bradford has just welcomed its second group of committed losers.
This time around, 20 people will be working together to lose weight and eat more healthily, with each of them hoping to match Brian Muff, our first ‘biggest loser’, who lost 1st 9lbs in weight and shed 16 inches from his waistline.
There is also the added incentive of a weekend break at Cedar Court Hotel Harrogate and a month’s free membership to Cedar Court Hotel health clubs for the winner – or rather, loser.
Chris Willetts, Bradford’s health club Manager, explains:
“It can be hard to lose weight on your own, but by joining fit club you’re with 19 other people who can encourage and support you even when you lose motivation. Not only that, our fit club is under the expert guidance of Personal Trainer Justine Davis-Hirst – a champion weight lifter - who offers tailor-made exercise advice, nutritional guidance and group personal training.”
In addition, the first fit club raised around £200 for AfghanistanTrust.org and Chris is hoping to beat that target this time around.
Fit club has proven so successful that there is now a waiting list to join. Being a loser has never been so cool.

Pilates class 10am – 11am
Personal trainers will be available 9am – 12pm on the gym floor for advice or prescription.

The health club team organise a host of nights out and get togethers for all our members to sign up and enjoy. From curry nights to race nights we will make sure that each night it a chance for members to get to know each other and our team.
