The Mayor’s Charity Ball raises money through ticket sales, raffles and auctions.  This year’s theme is the roaring 20’s, so dust off your flapper gear!


On Saturday 7th March, Cedar Court Wakefield will be hosting this year’s prestigious Mayor’s Charity Ball.  This annual event will be hoping to raise £3,000 for `Move Ahead`, a Wakefield charity that supports people who have suffered brain injuries and the amazing people who look after them.  The guest of honor this year is councilor Jacqui Williams.

John Horvath, Group General Manager for the Cedar Court said:
“The hotel hosts many charity events which we always contribute various prizes to help raise money for these charities. This year will be our 5th year hosting this event and our prize contribution is four tickets to watch Billy Pearce “LIVE” at the Cedar Court Hotel which includes a fabulous 3 course dinner”.
