The Cedar Court Hotel in Wakefield welcomes two new members of staff this week as they are joined by new Head Chef Jamie Sibbald and Louise Gibson as the hotel new Sales Manager.

Louise has worked in the industry for over thirteen years, predominately in the Yorkshire region, whilst  Jamie has been freelancing at sporting events around the world including the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Wimbledon Lawn Tennis, the Paris Air Show, the Grand National, and The Rider Cup ...  just to mention a few!  Jamie has achieved various awards throughout the years including AA Rosettes, RAC Blue Ribbon & Young Chef of The Year.

Louise Gibson, Sales Manager said ‘The Wakefield market is a new challenge to me but I bring a wealth of experience that I am sure is going to benefit the hotel and the Wakefield area’.

Jamie Sibbald, Head Chef said ‘I am constantly looking at new products (all locally sourced) to produce new innovative menus at reasonable prices’.

Hayleigh Parkhurst, General Manager at Cedar Court Hotel in Wakefield said ‘We would like to welcome both Louise and Jamie to our team.  I am sure that the mix of a new Head Chef and new Sales Manager will help take the hotel to the next stage.
