Cedar Court Hotel Leeds - Bradford Andrea Moorhouse has been awarded a City & Guild Medal for Excellence 2009/2010.
Andrea received the award in recognition of her excellent standard of work and depth of knowledge in Customer Service at the Regional awards ceremony in Leeds, Reservations agent Andrea, was selected from over 2 million eligible learners to receive the City and Guilds Medal of Excellence and was recognised for completing the NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service.
The Medals for Excellence Programme recognises and rewards exceptional people whose work really makes them stand out.
Andrea said: “It’s a great honour to be recognised for such a prestigious award. I am just really grateful that I’m able to do the job that I do and use my experience to inspire others.”
Pam Sandwith, Deputy General Manager said “Andrea has deservedly won this mark of special distinction. She is an inspiration to others and she demonstrates that going the extra mile pays dividends”.
Andrea is now in the running to win one of nine prestigious Lion Awards, dubbed the “Education Oscars”, which will be announced at a gala dinner at The Royal Lancaster Hotel, London, on 12th April, an event which celebrates learning, success and achievement.
